Need words that make you more disability inclusive?
Do you find it hard to find the right words to engage your readers?
I get it.
Creating long-form content that empowers disability inclusion can be a tricky task.
Disability, accessibility and inclusion might not be something you're familiar with. And if you are, you're so busy running things it isn't something you have time to work on.
So, if you believe in the power of content writing but you're short on resources and time, Disability Writer can help you.
How Disability Writer started in September 2021.
For years, I struggled to support our one-in-a-million guide dog school to survive and thrive.
I sweated blood, not to mention exhausted my financial savings, and forgot to enjoy life.
In May 2022, my son was diagnosed with epilepsy and my world crumbled.
I was forced to take a hard look at my life.
On the one hand. I was worried about paying raging health bills, on the other I was desperate to keep a part of my old life, and my mental health in one piece.
Starting my own business was a leap of faith in a moment of urgency.
I felt like a squirrel dashing into the unknown—urgent, a bit wobbly, but full of hope!
When I started my business, I fumbled around. I didn’t know what it meant to be a content writer, but I knew I could write.
So I started guest writing for guide dog schools and other non-profit organisations.
And, I'll be honest with you.
I never imagined people would pay me to write for them.
But, thanks to my guest posts, I discovered my first content writing clients and business took off.
Today, I have a steady flow of content-writing clients from the US and the UK who share the same values and beliefs.
Now, I’d like to empower your organisation to stand out on its jounrey to disability awareness, accessibility, and inclusion.
Warm wishes from Basel.

Basel, Switzerland
The greater Basel area is my home; imagine the greater Vancouver area only much smaller.
This is the view I get from my favourite spot on Wettstein bridge. I moved here and discovered the spellbinding culture, architecture and the best chocolate shops the world has to offer.
Did you know the average Swiss eats more than 10 kilos of chocolate per year?
